Promesse De L’aube (EDP)

Promesse de L'aube was Francis Kurkdjian's first creation for Claude Marchal's MDCI label. Created in 2001, it remains one of the best fragrances in the line and a must-try for fans of classical floral orientals like Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue. Promesse de l'Aube (Promise of the Dawn) opens with a bouquet of citrus and gives way to a heart of jasmine and ylang-ylang of the highest quality. As beautiful as the opening of the fragrance is, the true star of Promesse de L'aube is the beautiful sandalwood note that dominates the base, accented with flourishes of hay-like tonka bean and vanilla. A modern classic and one of the best compositions of the past twenty years.
